Family STEM Night: Micropipette Challenge

Bring your school-age kids and come tour the country’s largest mobile STEM education vehicle: the Mobile eXploration Lab! At nearly 1,000 square feet, this high-tech classroom on wheels will be visiting Middletown High School all week and we’re excited to show it off.
Parents and students also will have the opportunity to participate in the Micropipette Challenge, learning how to use a fundamental piece of scientific equipment and creating a visible spectrum by following a laboratory protocol. The Gumdrop Challenge, an engineering activity suitable for ages 5 and over, will also be available.
EVENT SCHEDULE
5:30PM – 7PM Open House & Gumdrop Challenge (suitable for ages 5+)
6PM – 7PM Micropipette Challenge (suitable for ages 11+)
