Distance Learning, Earth's Place in the Univese, Middle School, Solar System, SpaceBy Kristin DiamantidesMay 5, 2020

Grade Level: Middle School
DCI: The Universe and Its Stars

Students explore their own questions after viewing two images of the sun from Chile in February 2017 and Idaho in August 2017. The investigation allows students to use sun-Earth-moon models to explain moon phases, solar eclipses, and eclipse seasons.
