The country’s largest mobile lab for STEM education, MXLab is a double-expandable trailer that offers seating for 42 students.
We have built mobile laboratories on every conceivable platform, including trailers, shipping containers, and busses. One of our first community led partnerships, Educate Maine’s BIOLAB was designed in collaboration with Learning Undefeated’s team of experts.
KRESA’s tow-behind Discovery Lab is equipped to provide accessible, hands-on career awareness and exploration experiences, especially for younger learners.
Lightweight and compact, Drop Anywhere Labs are custom built shipping containers that can be moved by trailer, forklift, or even crane!
Our labs can host all the bells and whistles! This Manufacture Your Path lab contains 10 student stations with 65” Viewsonic Touch Displays, Android Tablets, Arduino R4 Wifi Boards with Controllers, Custom Gobo Lighting System, Dolby Surround Sound and more.
We genuinely couldn’t have launched this project without the support and ongoing partnership of the Learning Undefeated team. From the very beginning, they helped us think through what we wanted to accomplish and what a lab should look like to meet those goals, and then held our hands every step of the way as the lab was being designed, built, delivered, and launched. They helped us issue an RFP for a builder, and sort through the proposals.

Many schools are investing their ESSER Funds in STEM education programming, including mobile laboratories, that address the impacts COVID-19 has had on K-12 students and educators. ESSER Funds may be used to:

Our Approach
Learning Undefeated supports our community partners from concepting and design to build and deployment, with a strong emphasis on using local resources for program. Community leaders and others are engaged as stakeholders and inform decision-making on program goals, activities, and outcomes, including program design, audience, curriculum, and staffing.
As a consultant partner Learning Undefeated develops of physical and software assets needed to continue expanding and iterating on the programming for many years, working with community stakeholders to tailor and license curriculum content. Learning Undefeated also provides guidance on program branding and design, operations, logistics, technology components, program structure, marketing, and evaluation.
