Learning Undefeated’s CEO, Brian Gaines, will join an esteemed panel to explore the future of biotechnology. Synthetic biology—the engineering of biological systems—is reshaping industries from healthcare to energy. Houston stands at the forefront with world-class medical research, deep energy expertise, and a rapidly growing innovation ecosystem. The National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology recently called biotechnology “an imperative for national security, economic power, and global influence.” With its diverse industries and collaborative spirit, Houston is primed to play a central role. This panel will examine how Houston’s unique strengths are advancing breakthroughs in medicine, sustainability, and the bioeconomy.

The first thirty minutes will be for networking and enjoying a boxed lunch; the program will begin at noon.
