NACME expects to support approximately 1,000 underrepresented minority engineering and computer students annually.

The Foundation seeks to engage these future leaders in order to help fuel the global economy, stimulate innovation and creativity, and yield a strong ethical foundation for decision-making. We seek to support higher education to enable our future leaders to achieve their dreams.

(SSAI) Underrepresented Student Scholarship” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.spsnational.org%2Fscholarships%2Fscience-systems-and-applications-inc-ssai-underrepresented-student-scholarship||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text]SSAI is a woman-owned business, which has been providing scientific and technological applications services since its incorporation in April, 1977. The company’s founders, Om and Saraswati (Sara) Bahethi, are naturalized U.S. citizens who have shown both compassion and commitment in supporting and assisting students studying to earn degrees in atmospheric and related sciences. Dr. Bahethi acknowledges the contributions of scholarships and financial assistance from educational institutions and the government to the completion of his own physics studies in the United States, and he and Mrs. Bahethi are happy to pass on their own assistance to others.

Founded in 1986, Catching the Dream strives to help improve the quality of life in Indian communities through the higher education of Indian people. We provide scholarship funds for students who demonstrate academic achievement, clearly defined goals, leadership, the determination to succeed, and the desire to return to their communities and help others realize their dreams. We assist Indian schools in preparing students for success in college.

Age Range/Grade: Native American Undergraduates

Established in 1976, the ITC is a nonprofit nation-wide consortium of Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Corporations, and individuals dedicated to improving the management of natural resources of importance to Native American communities.

NOGLSTP established the Out to Innovate™ Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Students in STEM, following NOGLSTP’s inaugural Out to Innovate™ Career Summit for LGBTQ+ People in STEM. These scholarships are intended for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering,or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community. The scholarships are designed to promote academic excellence and increased visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.

The STEM for Her Mission is to promote education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to launch successful STEM-related careers. Through direct exposure to hands-on experiences, mentors and role models, STEM for Her connects girls and young women to a community of STEM women and other girls, enabling them to envision the path to an education and a career in STEM. We partner with girl leaders, community organizations and corporations with a strong focus on the underserved populations in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Opens Spring 2021.
