Prestigious International Awards Program Recognizes Standout Educational Technology Companies and Visionaries Shaping the Future of Learning
Learning Undefeated has been selected as “Overall STEM Education Solution Provider of the Year” in the 8th annual EdTech Breakthrough Awards, which recognizes the top companies and solutions in the global educational technology market.
The “Overall STEM Education Solution Provider of the Year” recognition honors the organization that best demonstrates a sustained, mission-driven commitment to advancing STEM education at scale – not just a single product, but a body of work, a culture of innovation, and measurable impact across the students and communities it serves. Learning Undefeated earned this distinction through the breadth and depth of its approach: mobile labs, immersive learning environments, educator training, curriculum development, and a track record of nearly two million students reached since 2003. Central to the 2026 recognition is its newest initiative, Manufacture Your Path.
Learning Undefeated’s Manufacture Your Path is a futuristic learning pod that uses immersive learning to help students in grades 9 – 12 learn and develop an interest in career paths in manufacturing. A game‑based environment (called Breakout Box: Manufacturing Mission) creates engagement through active problem‑solving, collaboration, and low‑risk experimentation. These experiences align with science and engineering practices and build skills like critical thinking, communication, and adaptability.
When Breakout Box: Manufacturing Challenge arrives in a school parking lot, students apply computational thinking and collaboration skills to successfully run a manufacturing facility. Teams control and manipulate different areas of the manufacturing process, competing and collaborating to balance scheduling, inventory, machine operations, and disruptions with performance, efficiency, quality control, and maintenance.

To deepen student learning in manufacturing, Learning Undefeated has also designed three in-classroom activities offered in tandem with the Breakout Box mobile lab. These activities, informed by students, teachers, and manufacturing subject matter experts, enable students to have hands-on experience using manufacturing tools as well as exposure to real work application of these essential skills in the manufacturing industry.
Manufacture Your Path was developed with initial support from the Caterpillar Foundation. The program is based on more than a year’s worth of research that includes a comprehensive landscape analysis of manufacturing education programs across the U.S., and input from subject matter experts and educators.
Since January 2025, Manufacture Your Path has visited 32 schools, served 14,699 students and 722 teachers.
In education, students might not remember every detail of what they learned, but they will remember if they felt capable, included, or inspired. My job is to create moments that spark that memory and feeling of “I can do this.” The feeling of confidence and ownership is what we want students to walk away with, not just completing the activity.
