Mobile STEM Labs Travel to Schools Across the Country AT NO COST TO SCHOOLS!

High-tech mobile laboratories visit schools nationwide! In labs up to 1000 sq. feet, with up to 42 student capacity at a time, these flexible, immersive learning environments deliver STEM experiences to students in under-resourced, disaster-impacted, or hard-to-reach communities.

Our Educators Conduct A Full STEM Field Trip—Right in The School Parking Lot!

The lab arrives on campus during school hours, eliminating the need for off-site travel. Students step into a fully equipped lab environment that brings classroom lessons to life. Our educators are there, conducting the standards-aligned curriculum.

Students Build Confidence and Identity in STEM, Steering Them Towards STEM Careers

Inside the lab, students use professional tools to tackle real scientific problems: editing genes, analyzing data, solving engineering challenges. Along the way, they build skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the world of STEM.

Drop Anywhere Labs

Compact and flexible, Drop Anywhere Labs offer a tech-forward approach to STEM education. Inside these shipping containers, students experiment with augmented reality, touchscreen walls, and Hollywood-style light and sound while engaging with the practices of STEM.

Small but mighty, these containers can also be connected end-to-end to create larger spaces. Now that’s genius!

Texas Mobile STEM Labs

Texas Mobile STEM Labs

The Texas Mobile STEM Labs comprise nine dedicated mobile labs that reach more to 75,000 students across every region of Texas each year. Onboard these labs, K-8 students solve engineering design challenges.  Students work cooperatively to design a product or process using model STEM activities developed by Learning Undefeated, with support from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

PORT-Able Learning Lab

PORT-Able Learning Lab

The PORT-Able Learning Lab is a mobile, immersive game environment housed in a shipping container, bringing hands-on learning right to your school’s doorstep. Students explore STEM through immersive reality, interactive games, and collaborative challenges. Running our award-winning Breakout Box: Environmental Mission, students get a peek into the world of marine careers.

MdBioLab

MdBioLab

The mobile lab that started it all, MdBioLab is Learning Undefeated’s first vehicle, Still on the road after 24 school years, this 45-foot Great Dane trailer was built to look exactly like a genetics laboratory environment.

Industrial-grade cabinets, chemical-resistant countertops, and professional-grade equipment immerse students in an authentic wet laboratory setting the moment they step inside. The MDBioLab is fully self-contained, with its own power and water supply.

The Explorer Lab

The Explorer Lab

Imagine whizzing across the universe without leaving the parking lot! Our Explorer Lab is just that: a space-themed STEM learning experience unlike anything else your students have ever experienced. Skip across the solar system and visit all the planets (oh hey, Pluto!) before landing on Mars to build and navigate your own Mars rover. This one-of-a-kind vehicle runs our Mission Stardust game-based learning environment.

This shared immersive learning experience that combines movie-quality video, special effects, and hands-on educational gaming to create a learning environment that gets kids excited about space and science – right in the school parking lot.

What Happens on the Labs

From interactive experiments to immersive simulations, every Learning Undefeated Mobile STEM Lab experience is packed with high-energy learning. Whether students are mixing chemicals, building prototypes, or solving real-world missions, they’re stepping up to the plate (or in some cases, the petri dish!) in the role of a scientist, innovator, or engineer — and loving it!

Advanced STEM Concepts Become Tangible Fun Aboard the Labs

Fueling Potential While Making Biodiesel Fuel

In our Biodiesel Lab, our students explore the process of titration and its role in creating biodiesel fuel. Here, students from Largo (MD) High School are performing an acid/base titration to determine the molarity of free fatty acids in a waste vegetable oil solution.

Exploring Engineering in Elementary School!

3rd graders from Woodroe Petty Elementary School helped save the day! After Jack ran out of magic beans, these future engineers built beanstalks to help him reach the sky. This is one of our many engineering design challenges that are available for K-5 students.

Geology Rocks When Students Take a Mission to Mars in the Breakout Box!

Eyes wide with wonder, 6th grade students examine Martian rock samples during the Explorer Lab’s Mars Discovery mission—bringing real-world science and engineering practices to life through game-based learning!

Crushing It In Organic Chemistry!

Students test the PH acidity of water to save the drinking water reserve! This environmental exercise in organic chemistry helps students connect real-world concepts with fun experiments.

Such fun in the lab!

Challenge: Our ecosystem’s population balance has gone out of control. We need to fix our ecosystem to make sure there is equilibrium amongst the species.” The students are designing a tool to remove the invasive species and restore balance to the ecosystem.
