J. Craig Venter Institute has announced its 2012 Internship Program. The Internship Program offers motivated high school, undergraduate and graduate students as well as teachers the opportunity to nurture their interest in science by participating in cutting-edge genomic research at the Institute in both Maryland and California. In addition, the Institute also hosts students interested in other areas such as EHS and IT. The summer program is by far the most popular with over 540 applicants last year from around the US and the world.
