On August 13th, Learning Undefeated will be partnering with the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center to provide a one-day STEM summer camp for students living in a temporary shelter. At this time, we will also be bringing school supplies for the students needed in the shelter.
Grassroots is a 33-bed temporary shelter for families and women. Grassroots provides supportive and professional 24-hour crisis intervention, suicide prevention, shelter, and outreach services to individuals and families experiencing a personal, situational, mental health, or shelter crisis.
Below is a list of the supplies that the students need for the school year. Drop off supplies at the Learning Undefeated office by August 9 or ship to us at: Learning Undefeated (ATTN Janeé Pelletier), 9841 Washingtonian Boulevard, Suite 415, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
