Learning Undefeated is taking modern education as we know it to a whole new level.
The nonprofit organization’s high-tech traveling mobile laboratory and AI-themed Breakout Box game environment instantly transforms students into teams of AI experts right in their school parking lots, tasked with stopping a cyber-attack before a total blackout occurs.
Learning Undefeated’s Breakout Box: AI Mission takes students on a 35-minute immersive adventure where they apply computational thinking and problem-solving to successfully combat a malicious digital attack on our nation’s power grid. From the moment they step inside the custom-built immersive learning space, students experiment with game-based logic to build their critical thinking, collaboration, and computational reasoning skills.
This brand-new mission applies Learning Undefeated’s award winning Breakout Box game experience to the exploding career field of AI, helping students understand how they can harness this new tool for their own career potential.
“Artificial intelligence is reinventing every facet of how we work, so we are helping students understand both the opportunities AI is creating for them along with how to use the technology responsibly,” said Brian Gaines, Learning Undefeated’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our culture of innovation allows us to quickly build career experiences that highlight emerging careers and integrate into the traditional education system, bringing new and next experiences to teachers and students before textbooks can catch up.”
The Breakout Box: AI Mission experience will be offered onboard the country’s largest mobile STEM lab for education, along with Learning Undefeated’s interactive and standards-aligned laboratories in biology and chemistry. The program debuts at high schools in the Washington, DC area in Spring 2026.
