Students get hands-on, real-world experience with healthcare technology, exploring human body systems and innovation concepts inside an immersive learning space that travels directly to your school parking lot.
Medtronic Spark Explore is serving Minnesota, California, and Colorado, Connecticut, and Massachusetts in 2027. Eligible schools will be invited to apply for a visit.

Medtronic has partnered with nonprofit Learning Undefeated to develop Medtronic Spark Explore, a new mobile learning experience designed to expand access to hands-on healthcare technology education for students in grades 5-8.

Through hands-on design challenges, students practice problem-solving, collaboration, prototyping, and resilience while building “innovator identity” traits including curiosity, empathy, and confidence as learners. By connecting biology, systems thinking, and digital technologies to real-world human needs, the experience helps students see themselves as capable innovators.
For teachers, this means students are more engaged, more willing to take intellectual risks, and better prepared to apply classroom learning to meaningful, future-focused careers.
Medtronic Spark Explore connects classroom learning with authentic applications of biomedical engineering, healthcare technology, and engineering design through an immersive instructional experience.
