MdBio recently received a contribution from AT&T to support STEM education initiatives and direct service programs that serve students in grades 7-12 in underserved communities. The programs will include the ATLAS college and career symposium and school-based programs designed to engage students about lucrative career opportunities in STEM fields. Thanks to the AT&T grant, MdBio Foundation will serve nearly 1,250 middle and high school students in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County, Maryland.
“Through AT&T Aspire we provide and support opportunities for STEM learning that will meet the needs of the future workforce,” said Denis Dunn, president, AT&T Maryland. “We’re proud to support this program knowing that it will empower these students to reach their full potential.”

MdBio Foundation sparks interest in life-changing career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for underserved communities. Through its flagship mobile laboratory program and other immersive learning experiences, MdBio serves approximately 10,000 Maryland students per year.
