Time commitment: 2 – 4 hours
Interested in joining us onboard one of our mobile labs? Learning Undefeated is seeking young, enthusiastic, and passionate STEM professionals to talk and collaborate with middle and high school students onboard our mobile labs throughout the school year.
Time commitment: 1 – 2 hours
One of the main reasons that students don’t consider a career in STEM is the lack of relatable role model, but Learning Undefeated is changing that by connecting students with STEM professionals from all backgrounds, at all stages of their career. In particular, we are seeking young, enthusiastic, and passionate STEM professionals to talk with middle and high school students onboard our mobile lab, or in a classroom setting.
Time commitment: 5 – 10 hours
Collaborate with our educators to help develop new curriculum in your subject matter area of expertise. Topics range from cybersecurity to engineering to chemistry – your topic area could become part of our curriculum onboard a mobile laboratory!
Time commitment: 2 – 4 hours
Several times per year, Learning Undefeated participates in large-scale public events that require additional hands to support our small but mighty staff team. Typical event volunteer activities may include helping students to complete an engineering challenge using everyday materials, judging student competitions, and/or sharing your enthusiasm for STEM by talking with students and parents about your professional journey.
Event locations vary but generally take place across Maryland and Washington, DC.
Time commitment: 2 – 4 hours
Is your workplace amazing? Many of our students have never had the chance to see inside a real laboratory, manufacturing facility, or tech development company. We’re always looking for ambassadors within a STEM company to host a student tour.
Time commitment: 1 – 2 hours, from your office or home
Learning Undefeated operates multiple student competitions each year, including the Maryland BioGENEius Competition. Between May 1 June 30, we need experienced professionals to serve as volunteer judges. Just a one-hour time commitment; no prep work or follow-up obligations are required. Judging is conducted virtually.
Time commitment: minimum 1 hour
