We’ll be offering two types of sessions:
- The Breakout Box: Manufacturing Challenge takes participants on a 20-minute immersive adventure where they apply critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and manufacturing skills to successfully run an eyewear manufacturing facility.
- Join this dynamic, hands-on workshop to explore how metrology, lean principles, and collaborative design can transform your STEM lessons! Dive into precision measurement, process improvement and design thinking with real world examples that come from the manufacturing industry.
Schedule:
- Wednesday (registration day – not official conference day)
- 1-3 PM: Breakout Box: Manufacturing Mission experience will be available onboard the mobile lab at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM.
- 2-3 PM: Join us for a workshop:Precision, Measurement & Data: Fresh Career Examples for your Classroom
- 2-3 PM: Mobile Lab open house: stop by for a sneak peak of our Breakout Box!
- Thursday
- 1:00-2:00 PM join us for a workshop: Precision, Measurement & Data: Fresh Career Examples for your Classroom
- 2:20-4:40 PM Breakout Box: Manufacturing Mission will be running. Experiences start at 2:20 PM, 2:50 PM, 3:40 PM and 4:10 PM
- Friday
- 9:20 AM-10:20 AM join us for a workshop: Precision, Measurement & Data: Fresh Career Examples for your Classroom
- 10:40 AM-2:20 PM: Breakout Box: Manufacturing Mission will be running. Experiences start at 10:30 PM, 11:10 AM, 1:20 PM and 1:40 PM
