Short documentary features MdBio’s Learning Undefeated program
MdBio’s Learning Undefeated program was profiled earlier this month by our partner The Rebuild Texas Fund through a short documentary that shares how our mobile STEM education program is helping students and schools recover from Hurricane Harvey. The documentary features Education Outreach Coordinator Desurae Matthews and several other team members aboard MdBioLab, along with students and teachers from Bloomington Independent School District.
Since November 2017, MdBioLab and our Learning Undefeated team have helped more than 7,500 students in grades K-12 refocus on school through hands-on science activities. By the end of the school year, we expect to have served more than 10,000 Texas students across a dozen school districts.
We are incredibly grateful to the Rebuild Texas Fund for showcasing our program as a shining example of the transformative work being done to help Texas students and schools in the recovery and rebuilding process.
With recovery and rebuilding efforts needed for the foreseeable future, MdBio is committed to remaining in Texas long-term. Partners interested in supporting our continued work in the region should contact our Vice President of Development & Strategic Partnerships Alejandro Cardemil to learn how to get involved.
