STEM education nonprofit Learning Undefeated is introducing new board chair, Elizabeth Huntley, and two new board members, Kerron Duncan and Lisa Carlton, as well as launching a new goal to prepare one million students for STEM careers within the next five years.
“The STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field is filled with incredible advancements, remarkable creativity and some pretty unbelievable discoveries and creations. But it also has the potential for even greater innovation, and that will result from a more diverse pipeline of STEM professionals.
Learning Undefeated, a nonprofit organization that provides innovative and experiential STEM education programs, announced today that Saketh Sundar, a junior at River Hill High School in Rockville, Maryland has won the 2022 Maryland BioGENEius Challenge.
“Delaware is a great place for STEM jobs. There are so many discoveries and inventions that are made right here in Delaware. We’re out here talking to the students about all the great jobs that are here in their state,” said Learning Undefeated Vice President of Communications Janee Pelletier.
