Learning Undefeated is joining forces with Caliber and TechForce to bring automotive tech industry to local students. Combining the resources of Caliber Collision centers and Learning Undefeated’s Mobile eXploration Lab (MXLab), Maryland students received one-on-one demos and interacted with experienced Caliber auto body technicians in a live shop environment.
The mobile STEM lab is traveling across Texas to provide science, technology, engineering and math experiences to students. During the STEM lab’s visit, Hearne Elementary students learned about invasive species, circuits, and biomimicry. Students removed “lettuce seeds” from turf grass, created a wiggling robot that lights up, and constructed a prosthetic hand inspired by nature.
The CenterPoint Energy Foundation committed $50,000 to Learning Undefeated, a nonprofit providing free STEM education resources to local schools. The check presentation took place at Ray D. Molo Middle School in Lake Charles, La.
